Line voltage remodel housing constructed of steel with screw down C-style clips. Built-in thermal protection offers product safety. Wire housing using quick connect push-in terminals, no wire nuts required. Rated for damp locations. 2-screw down C-style remodel clips secure housing and accommodates 1/2 and 5/8 inch ceiling materials. Clips include an integral metal air blocker to reduce heat flow into the plenums and ceiling cavities. Self-resetting thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation. For use with insulated ceilings. Suitable for post drywall applications.
